Working together remotely
We know a fair amount about how to work remotely, but many of us have simply not needed to adjust... until now. Working together when we are not together has its own unique challenges. Now, we are offering a series of interactive programs to help teams work together when they are not together.
The Art and Science of Communicating Virtually This session explores the challenges and opportunities introduced by virtual communications and gives participants an opportunity to practice and get feedback from their peers to improve their virtual presence. How to Work Together when You're Not Together This session addresses the challenges of working remotely: communication, alignment, and motivation are key areas that can suffer in remote workplaces, but it doesn't need to be that way! You'll come out of this session with strategies for keeping your teams engaged and connected. Creating Connection around Purpose and Strategy When we all know why we are here, we are better able to solve our own problems, stay focused on results, and find internal motivation when we need it. This session connects participants with each other and the big picture to create the momentum that can get diminished in a remote world. Managing Remotely Nothing new about this - we actually know a lot about how to do this well (and how not to). These three sessions are targeted at the needs of individual managers to help address their toughest challenges.
Working from your Strengths... at Home There is a lot to like about working from home, and it's really different. This session gives you an opportunity to look at the way you are working today through the lens of your strengths. The first tip: Do the things that energize you during the part of the day that drains you! Using Positive Intelligence to Manage Conflict Remotely Conflict hasn't gone away because we are working from home! In fact, it is easier to misread cues or ignore conflict when we are not face-to-face. In this session, we will introduce the tools of Positive Intelligence (see the Book by Shirzad Chamine) to address conflict by increasing both your awareness and your options.
